Electronic Bliss… “Fainting Spells” out now!
Electronic music written, recorded, programmed, & mixed by Ms. Bea Bohannon. Inspired by the ethos of Synth-Pop, Avant Funk, and Italo Disco
Bea Bohannon a Phoenix-based producer began to DJ vinyl records specializing in Synth Pop, Italo Disco, and Hi-NRG in 2021. During this phase of musical exploration she formed a deep passion for dance-oriented electronic music.
In 2023 Ms. Bohannon began recording music under the moniker Musique Machine, a nod to influences such as Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, and Patrick Miller.
Over the course of 2023 and 2024 Ms. Bohannon self published five different singles compiled to tape in early 2025 released through her independent tape label Machine Music.
Her debut ep, “Haunted House” was released both digitally and to tape on Halloween 2025. The project is based on the principle of live recording and relinquishing the control that comes with multi-track recording. These traxxx are sequencer driven and dance floor-oriented.
She is back in the studio preparing a follow-up project slated for late 2026. In the meantime she recently partnered with 2999rec and has a new track “Fainting Spells” featured on their V.A. Comp — out now on tape, direct from Italy.
